Small Beginnings

Established in 1983

In 1983, Ernest and Marial Poll, after retiring from teaching, decided to open a small franchise print shop called Sir Speedy Printing in Chicago Heights, IL, offering photocopies and offset printing services. A few years later, they expanded by opening another small franchise from Sir Speedy called Copies Now in Homewood, IL, providing quick same-day photocopy services.

Family Business

Sold in 1994

In 1994, Howie Budrow, a former pharmaceutical salesman, and his wife, Judy, bought the business from Judy’s parents. Howie’s experience in sales was instrumental in exponentially growing the business. In just one year, they earned the Volume Increase Percentage Award from Sir Speedy Corporate with a 90% increase in 1995.

More Than A Print Shop

Merged in 1997

Over the years, they added several services to their capabilities, such as Create-Distribute & Print, Sir Speedy Online, Mailing Services, Marketing Services, and Large Format Printing. In 1997, they merged the two businesses and moved to a larger building in Chicago Heights, IL, to accommodate their growing business.

The Next Generation

Century Club Award 2004

The Budrow family continued to expand their business, adding Laura (design) in 2001, Greg (sales) in 2002, and Todd (production manager) in 2002. Their sales increased even more, and they became members of the Century Club in 2004.

Core Capabilities

Rebranded in 2012

In 2012, to accommodate the changing needs of customers and reflect greater, more diversified capabilities, they rebranded, and Core Integrated Marketing was born. In 2016, Dave (sales) joined the company.

Changing of the Guard

New building & Ownership in 2020

In 2020, Core moved to a new building in Orland Park, IL. In 2021, Howie and Judy retired, and their children (Laura, Greg, and Jen) bought the business from them, ensuring that their family-owned business continues to thrive and deliver exceptional services to their valued customers.
